Friend Requests?

Problem/suggestion

cameron wanted me to accept his friend request today so i went to my profile and checked since it doesnt tell you anywhere that you have them, (which is my suggestion that you make it light up blue or something like the messages button, and second which is my problem how do you accept or decline invites it says click the + or - but i dont see them...

I just clicked on their name and clicked add to friends list. I think it approves the request that way.
