iMac or Mac Mini?

Hey guys, I've been saving up for a Mac computer for a while now, need one cos all the programs my college use for my course are mac only, I know what programs and accessories and such I need. The orginal plan was to get a mac mini and hook it up to the HD tv I use in my room as a screen already, but come march when work gives me my bonus I might have more money than I though I would , if so do you reckon it's worth paying out for an iMac instead?

The only thing is I know the mac mini can easily run what I need it to and more, the iMac would purely be a "cos I can" kinda thing. Lol

that being said, this means come march I'll be able to make jingles, sound track, theme music, background music or even custom sound effects at a studio quality should anyone want it, it's the kinda thing is want to go into and I think his would be a great way to help towards a portfolio too!

I'd help you, but I know nothing of Macs. I've never even met anyone that has a mac.

As a former computer tech major I must say I haven't worked with a mac in years...they make my skin burn on contact with them

lol well i cannot pass judgment till ive at least seem one being used, untill then ill just have to read reviews lol

i use them at college all the time, anything for graphics or music its amazing, otherwise they are WAY overpricedXD
